Bessie in Cambodia

August 2012 was busy.  Bessie, Shih Han and I went to Asia for three weeks, including a week in Cambodia, the first time for all of us.

As always, the trip was long.  This is in Frankfurt after the first leg of the trip.

Here I am making o good show of being an experienced traveler.  Not the tired wreck that I was.

We managed to make it to Cambodia and get up before dawn tour of Angkor Wat. 

There I am wearing the same pink shirt.

Angkor Wat was beautiful.

Bessie didn't care much for the tour.

She just wouldn't be serious.

All she really cared about were the monkeys.

The next day we took a tuk tuk to some outlying temples.

Bessie and Shih Han had a chance to sleep.

Luckily Bessie was there to hold the temple up.
