We've been back in New York for a week and I've started my life as a stay-at-home-dad. All I can say is that I have been very busy. Every day something is happening. Perhaps it'll quiet down as I get into a routine.

Yesterday's big event was Charlie's first doctor's appointment. He had a required check-up before we left San Antonio, but this was the first time his pediatrician, Dr. Gunduz, saw him. I am happy to say that everything checked out. I knew that he had put on weight, but I was surprised at how much. He went from 6lbs 7ozs at birth to 7lbs 12ozs yesterday. All that weight appears to be in his cheeks.

He also grew 3/4" to 20".
Charlie is now staying awake for longer periods, letting us see his big, beautiful eyes.
