We are just back from two weeks in Malaysia. We celebrated Chinese New Year with Shih Han's family. It was my first time celebrating Chinese New Year in Malaysia. It was a very different experience then celebrating here in New York. There is a major holiday. Kuala Lumpur was quiet because so many people had left to celebrate back in their home towns. The mood was festive and the celebration went on for days.
